  • Sal - silly.needles

Sal or "Silly Needles" began tattooing in 2022 shortly after moving to Iceland from Ireland. What was meant be a 5 month adventure ended up with them finding a permanent home here in Reykjavík.

They completed their BA in Production Design for Stage and Screen in Dublin back in 2021. Sal's goal has always been to live a creative life, that affords them time to draw, paint and create within a community of like minded artists. They describe their style of tattooing as "Sketchbook style" as a lot of their inspiration comes straight from the pages of their sketchbooks.

Sal's favourite things to tattoo are creatures, stamps and flowers. They could tattoo twice as fast if they talked half as much, but one of their favourite aspects of the job is getting to know their clients and hopefully share a few laughs.
